Job Description
Scenic Escape are based just outside St Neots in Cambridgeshire countryside. We specialise in scenic builds for a variety of applications – filming, corporate events and exhibitions to name a few. As a company we have grown hugely over the past year and are now looking to recruit further.
Job title: Warehouse Operative
We are looking for someone to join our team, working in our scenic warehouse and workshop. They will be excited by the fast pace and new set of challenges each day. There will be many aspects to the role, but the personality needs to be right:
We’re looking for:
Good listening skills, able to pickup detail and ask questions and to be part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and tipping scenic kit in and out of vehicles, from vans to articulated trucks
- Driving company vans where required
- Creating a clean clear space for jobs being prepped, loaded and tipped
- De-prep jobs coming back into the ware and putting away
- Assisting carpenters with prep of jobs going out if required
- Ensure that warehouse procedures are adhered to
- Ensure H&S requirements are always adhered to
- To work on site if required
- Any other duties as required
Skills:
- Have capacity to learn the scenic requirements for jobs going out and coming in
- An interest or basic carpentry skills would be a bonus
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Hold a Full UK driving licence – You will need to be at least 21 years of age for this role – to comply with our vehicle driving restrictions

The core hours for this role are 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday – Flexibility required
