Location: South Yorkshire (Place based)
Position Type: Full-time, this is a fixed term position with a view to make permanent subject to contract award in July 2027.

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Tutor who will focus on delivering high-quality qualifications within the Education and Training sector to adult learners across South Yorkshire. You will plan and deliver engaging, place-based cohort programmes through a blend of face-to-face community delivery and virtual classroom sessions. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role requires regular travel to community and delivery venues across the region, including; Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster.
You will provide effective teaching, assessment and constructive feedback, supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress towards their academic, personal and career goals. You will work with adult learners who may be seeking employment or looking to upskill within their current role, providing individualised support that reflects their circumstances, learning needs and career goals while ensuring a positive, inclusive and well-coordinated learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching, assessment and constructive feedback to adult learners undertaking; Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools, Level 2 Certificate in Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values and Level 3 Certificate in supporting teaching and learning in schools qualifications.
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and place-based cohort programmes through face-to-face sessions within South Yorkshire communities and, where appropriate, through virtual classroom delivery.
