GRAHAM is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for the Children's Hospital project at the Royal Victoria Hospital site in Belfast. The position is permanent, with a minimum of two years based on site. It sits within the contractor's Build division.
The surveyor will manage project expenditure, contractual matters and commercial performance throughout delivery. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, procuring work and controlling costs. The role requires cooperation with the client, subcontractors and internal teams, applying knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts to the project's commercial work.
Applicants need previous construction quantity surveying experience and a relevant degree. The employer asks for skills in forecasting costs, preparing budgets and commercial reports, negotiating and managing stakeholder relationships. Candidates should be able to handle several projects.
Experience on major projects delivered at pace, knowledge of current construction and fit-out methods, and membership of RICS or CIOB are desirable.
