What the role covers
GRAHAM is recruiting for its 2027 graduate quantity-surveying and commercial-management intake within Civil Engineering. The permanent position is advertised across the UK, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with individual locations described as various. The graduate programme lasts two years and includes technical development and mentored training towards professional qualification.
Duties include checking subcontract payments against completed work and preparing information needed to procure materials and subcontract packages. Graduates will help maintain project accounts, report costs and value, forecast spending and identify commercial risks and opportunities. Measurement work includes taking quantities from drawings and checking work on site.
Site records must be reconciled against payment claims, while changes are agreed with the client's commercial team. The remit also covers project contracts and their provisions. Applicants must be studying quantity surveying or commercial management at degree level, understand construction management, communicate effectively and hold a full driving licence.
UK work eligibility is required. Previous site experience and an appropriate safety card are desirable. Applications close on 8th January 2027, although the employer may close recruitment earlier.
