Salary Package: £35,000- £45,000 plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Role purpose: The Project Manager Team Lead both leads and develops a team while directly managing projects, ensuring successful delivery, effective personnel management, and alignment with business objectives. Security clearance or willingness to apply will be required for this role. Full UK driving Licence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of collaboration projects, including procurement, installation, and testing of AV systems for both corporate and event-based environments. Setting the Projects Scope, Goals and Objectives and ensuring successful completion of Projects on time and in budget to customers satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations, and ensuring all deliverables meet the client’s needs and specifications.
  • Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and costs are controlled throughout the project’s life cycle.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, vendors, and contractors, ensuring smooth communication and project execution.
  • Timeline Management: Create detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to ensure that milestones are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation including Project Brief/Statement of Works, change orders, schedules, and progress reports in line with the companies standard governance reporting. Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and legal requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Northern Project Management team, working closely with HR on performance management, development, and employee relations. Oversee onboarding and ongoing training, ensuring team members are competent in SCC systems, tools, and back-end processes. Coordinate and schedule training activities, balancing workload and resource allocation across the team. Support the introduction of new systems or system upgrades by leading training rollout and driving user adoption. Ensure ongoing compliance with HR policies, internal procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
