We are seeking an experienced Security/AI Risk Specialist to support a regulated financial services environment, focusing on AI governance, model risk, and secure AI deployment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Security/AI Risk Specialist to work remotely on a high-profile AI risk and compliance programme.
Your responsibilities as the Security/AI Risk Specialist:
- Define, implement and maintain AI governance frameworks aligned to regulatory and internal risk standards.
- Assess and manage AI and model risk, including bias, fairness, explainability, and model transparency.
- Ensure data privacy, security and regulatory compliance across AI use cases within a financial services environment.
- Partner with security, risk, legal and technology teams to embed responsible AI practices.
- Design and review secure LLM deployments on AWS, ensuring appropriate controls, access management and monitoring.
- Support risk assessments, audits, and regulatory enquiries related to AI and advanced analytics.
- Produce clear documentation, risk assessments and governance artefacts for senior stakeholders.
As a successful Security/AI Risk Specialist, you will have:
- Proven experience working as a Security/AI Risk Specialist, AI risk professional or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AI governance frameworks and responsible AI principles.
- Hands-on experience managing model risk, including bias detection, explainability and validation.
- Solid understanding of data privacy, security and regulatory compliance within financial services.
- Experience supporting or reviewing secure LLM implementations on AWS.
- Ability to translate complex AI risks into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and experience operating in regulated, enterprise environments.
