Role:Long Wheel Base Van Driver with a high back capacity
Location: Birmingham(SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)
Contract Type:Permanent

- Carry out daily deliveries from Birmingham to London.
- Collect items from delivery points and return to Birmingham base.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of delivery and collection documentation.
- Ensure all customer and internal queries are handled efficiently, with prompt responses via telephone and email.
- Perform basic checks and maintenance of the van to ensure roadworthiness.
- Comply with road safety legislation and SCC driving policies.
- Liaise effectively with the logistics, stores and repair centre.
- Maintain security and care of goods during transit.
- Report any issues or delays promptly and professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
- Valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- MPPV2 clearance (must be held or obtainable).
- Previous van driving experience, ideally including London route planning.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and handle items safely.
- Flexible, professional, and self motivated.
