Role: IT Field Delivery Engineer

Location: London (SCC operates hybrid working, combining office and home working)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Role Purpose

To support customer sites with IT hardware and software within SLA, delivering effective IT support and customer service to dedicated contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, repair, configure, and test hardware/software following standard procedures
• Assist with projects and provide hands-on support
• Handle calls as per procedures, escalating and resolving issues promptly
• Support other service engineers off-site
• Participate in routine maintenance and audits
• Use mobile devices to manage calls efficiently
• Follow health & safety procedures
• Comply with local airport authority conditions, including ID and vehicle passes
• Perform IT tasks across the customer’s campus
• Participate in 24/7 coverage via rota or shifts if needed
• Assist with administrative duties as directed
• Meet SLA targets for calls
• Maintain company vehicles and records, especially in airside locations
• Support projects outside core hours as required
• Other duties as assigned by manager
• Follow policies, health & safety standards, and maintain professional appearance
• Willing to work overtime when necessary
• Familiarity with SCC policies and customer procedures

Skills and Experience

• Professional appearance and excellent customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving license
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills
• Qualified to at least CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience/certifications
• Ability to work at heights and handle manual tasks
• Positive team-oriented behaviors
