Location: Birmingham (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: Competitive base salary, car allowance/company car, bonus plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Role Purpose
SCC is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing team and strategy. As the Head of Digital Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital marketing strategy, crafting engaging multi-channel campaigns for our business units and focus industries that generate leads, build brand awareness and drive revenue that will make an impact in the ever-evolving technology landscape at SCC.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, manage and deliver the long term strategic marketing campaign plan and roadmap, measuring and evaluating outputs aligned to SQLs, revenue and sales margin contribution and maximised marketing ROI. Your ultimate goal will be to deliver high quality leads across our sales teams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to lead the planning, execution, and measurement of digital marketing campaigns that promote SCC\'s propositions and value-add to our customers. Develop innovative and creative strategies to cut through the noise in the competitive tech industry and keeping us well ahead of our competition.
  • Manage team of campaign managers within central marketing team to design, test, and refine lead nurturing and scoring programs to improve sales funnel efficiencies. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Mentor the team on the strategy and implementation of an account-based marketing program to drive growth across our core existing customers, increasing the BU coverage and margin rate in high value opportunities. The expectation is that this person is experienced in the creation of persona segmentation and customer journey flows.
  • Be data driven to analyse data and identify key insights to continuously improve campaign performance. Use data to refine strategies, make data-driven decisions, and provide in-depth reports to the executive team. Also build data governance for cleansing, enhancing GDPR compliance, strategically organising data for campaigns, and efficiently handling unsubscribe requests.
  • Drive and evaluate innovation in SCC’s engagement with the market through AI, predicting a buyer’s journey and propensity to spend.
Skills And Experience
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, lead generation and customer journey flows.
  • Strategic thinker and proven track record of B2B success, in digital marketing, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Experience in delivering digital marketing programmes based on accelerating lead generation and contribution to company revenue and margin goals; utilising various budget streams
  • Data driven with strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies, tactics, and measurable implementation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams to implement integrated digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
  • Amplifies the SCC brand through ensuring consistent messaging across all digital platforms
  • Formal marketing qualifications of CIM and IDM would be advantageous
