Role Purpose
This role is critical to supporting and reporting on the financial benefit delivered across the Sales and BU organisations, from RevOps initiatives and processes. As an organisation, the Revenue Operations team need to maintain momentum in all supporting factors of delivering sales, including analysing our forecasting accuracy across all sectors, reporting on the output from Lead Generation and Account Planning initiatives, attaching Deal Reg and maintaining a high renewal rate of managed service contracts, as well as interpreting Whitespace data to highlight key areas for growth and higher impact of sales.
Being target driven, the role requires acute financial understanding, by department, as well as translating this into best practice activity for execution across the broader RevOps and Sales teams. The role requires a good level of knowledge of SCC working practices, our CRM system and market best practices to put forward recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- KPI Measuring and Reporting: Report on agreed metrics demonstrating the success of programs such as Margin Maximisation, Pipeline Generation and Whitespace analysis from BU intelligence and Account Planning. Maintain, administer, and drive the adoption of improved reporting and analytics to functions such as Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing and Product Teams.
- Data Analysis: Provide intelligence from programs such as (but not limited to) Lead Generation, Deal Reg, Account Planning, Renewals, forecasting and pipeline management to inform data-driven decisions and provide input to analysis for future enablement improvements/projects.
- Consistency and Quality: Ensure consistency in reporting, delivery of programs to both Sellers and Sales Managers demonstrating the business impact of Sales Enablement activity with a view to continuously improving our sales performance.
- Facilitation & alignment: Collaboration across various teams will be essential to the success of this role, including Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Understanding and Knowledge: Maintain a good understanding of the key drivers of each team and BU, to deliver educated information to them that will drive insight and areas for improvement, such as main profit areas, key losses and whitespace analysis.
- Sales Operations: Support the Sales Operations function with relevant data cleansing requirements on the CRM system, to ensure high quality data management for analysis.
Skills And Experience
- Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring reliable reporting and accurate use of the CRM.
- Organisation and time management: Managing the success of multiple concurrent processes will require exceptional organisation and an awareness of improving efficiencies.
- Exceptional communication: As a listener/speaker/presenter, at multiple levels of the organisation and across multiple disciplines.
- Deep knowledge of a sales cycle: Display a good understanding of the qualification process between seller and buyer, as well as the complete sales cycle from interest to won business to ensure performance reporting is relevant and aligns with enablement and operational process improvements.
- Innovation: Display a good understanding of emergent trends, theories, and tools, recommending and implementing improvements to the process/activity, ensuring a good level of performance is maintained and targets achieved.
Qualification & Experience
- Experience in data analysis, RevOps, sales enablement, sales operations or business development supporting roles.
- Measurable experience of delivering high quality reporting and data analysis relevant to improving a sales process.
- Working with a range of CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce/Dynamics, PowerBI, Excel.
- Experience in contributing to change management initiatives.
- Involvement and participation in sales enablement groups or communities (ideal).
