Overview
As Sales Support Executive, you will back the Business Partnering team to enable account activity and drive profitable revenue growth. You will work with Account Managers across strategic customers to ensure timely responses, accurate CRM records, and coordinated deal support. This role focuses on service quality, process efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration rather than direct selling targets. It’s a chance to influence outcomes in complex, regulated environments at Europe’s largest privately‑owned IT company.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to Account Managers across strategic accounts
- Hold regular account-priority calls to align on actions, opportunities, and deadlines
- Maintain knowledge of account stakeholders, procurement routes, and commercial processes
- Understand sector environments and how governance and compliance affect activity
- Assist in retaining existing business and advancing the pipeline
- Coordinate quotations, pricing requests, orders, renewals, and bids with relevant teams
- Utilise pricing programs to secure competitive quotes and maximise margin
- Ensure timely handling of pre-sales, quotations, orders, and customer requests
- Proactively chase outstanding actions and keep managers updated on progress
- Maintain accurate CRM records and support meetings, reporting, and reviews
- Collaborate with the Romania offshore team on administrative tasks
- Promote SCC tools such as Lifecycle for standardisation and automation
- Develop knowledge of SCC products and vendor propositions to support upsell/cross-sell
- Coordinate resolution of customer issues and escalate risks promptly
- Liaise with Credit Control, Warehouse, Operations, Revenue Operations, and other teams
- Support lifecycle management and transitions for end-of-life products
- Respect account-specific bids, SLAs, and governance across environments
Key requirements
- Experience in sales support, account support, or a fast-paced customer environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational and time-management skills across multiple accounts
- Experience in supporting upsell and cross-sell activity
- Ability to work with Account Managers and own actions
- Strong interpersonal skills with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and escalate risks early
- Good IT, CRM, numeracy, and literacy skills
- Confident using customer/vendor portals and digital tools
- Ability to quickly learn and communicate a broad range of technology solutions
