With the potential for contract extension and future permanent opportunities, this is a great chance for a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Sales Co-ordinator to join a busy and dynamic team.
You'll support customer order management, fulfilment and after-sales activities while building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities as the Customer Sales Co-ordinator
- Sales
- Order
Processing: Verification, co-ordination, acceptance and processing of all new customer purchase orders onto our systems.
Ensuring that all checks are completed, and that the transaction is in-line with the business compliance requirements.
- Purchasing
- Order
Processing: Creation and placement of any supporting purchase orders to fulfil our outstanding orders.
Ensuring that all checks are completed and that the transactions is in-line with the business compliance requirements.
- Customer Order Fulfilment: Pro-actively working on outstanding customer orders through to delivery, updating customers and identifying the best fulfilment options.
- Customer Services: Verification and routing of customer requests, ensuring regular updates and timely resolution in line with service levels.
- After Sales Management: Managing returns, credits, delivery issues, invoice queries and supplier interactions through to successful conclusion.
- General Support: Managing calls, requests, compliance requirements, fraud prevention and supporting month-end and quarter-end activities.
- Quotation Responses: Co-ordination and completion of customer pricing requests with internal teams and suppliers.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries related to orders, products and services.
- Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints and issues related to sales orders, escalating where necessary.
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather customer feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.
As a successful Customer Sales Co-ordinator, you will have
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, order management or supply chain environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using ERP, CRM, or order management systems.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience handling customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
