Role purpose:
To develop and increase ongoing revenues and margin contribution from new and existing account(s) through proactive & reactive sales of SCC products & services. Manage incoming demand, up and cross-sell the broader portfolio, and align with SCC partners to maximize margins. Operate as part of a regional team serving the UK Sales Sector.
We are looking for Account Executives to engage with both existing and potential customers, ensuring accurate data within our CRM system. The role is mainly sales-focused, with some administration, data entry, and customer service. You will develop relationships with key customers and partners using our CRM system.
You will also develop relationships with SCC’s vendor partners and partner managers to leverage programs and incentives that support our sales goals. Vendor partners will collaborate with you on co-selling activities and training for personal and team development.
Key responsibilities:
- Respond, identify, create, develop, and campaign sales opportunities within new business customers. Record all qualified business in Sales Hub. Engage with SCC’s partners following established processes.
- Respond to all leads quickly and capitalize on existing opportunities.
- Maintain and expand engagement with vendors and partners to drive sales growth and margin.
- Proactively pursue deal registration, margin maximization programs, and positive engagement to close deals.
- Work effectively with SCC solution experts to define the right proposition for clients.
- Maintain accurate forecasts in Sales Hub, creating and growing contacts, campaigns, and customer data.
- Manage, grow, and maintain long-term customer relationships at all levels.
- Identify opportunities and risks to SCC, considering operational, commercial, and legal factors, and use payment solutions to maximize margin.
- Prospect to net new customers via cold calling, email, and social media campaigns.
- Develop and close new business opportunities to achieve annual gross margin targets, executing a strategic campaign across SCC products and services.
Skills and experience:
- Proven success in technology infrastructure and services sales within the IT sector.
- Good knowledge of SCC focus areas and effective communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and successful negotiation experience at client and vendor levels.
