Windows Support 3rd Line Engineer (SC Cleared) – £300 per day via Umbrella – 6-month contract – Filton/Stevenage (Onsite) – SCC Flex Contract We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Support 3rd Line Engineer to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide advanced technical support and contribute to the success of our IT operations. Your responsibilities as the Windows Support 3rd Line Engineer : Provide 3rd line support for Windows operating systems and related software. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Maintain and manage server infrastructure and LAN/WAN networks. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks. Provide support via phone, email, and remote access. Collaborate with other IT professionals to improve service levels and customer satisfaction. As a successful Windows Support 3rd Line Engineer , you will have: Extensive experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365. Strong knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and networking (VLANs, VPNs). Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. Experience with backup technologies (e.g., Veaam) and SAN technologies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
