Our client, a prestigious contract catering unit near Woking, Surrey is looking for a General Catering Assistant to join their exceptional team.
As the General Catering Assistant you will be working Monday to Friday, daytimes in this busy restaurant and hospitality operation. So this position offers a great work life balance.

Job Description
*Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch according to established menus and recipes.
*Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
*Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
*Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
*Provide friendly and efficient service during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
*Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Working Hours:
*Monday to Friday
*7am-4pm
Qualifications
*Ideally have experience working within contract catering or other catering environment
*Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
*Flexible with a can-do attitude
*Customer focused.
