An exciting opportunity has opened for a skilled butcher to join a well-established, food retail destination. The role offers a friendly and supportive working environment, regular daytime hours, and the chance to work with high-quality, responsibly sourced meat.

Working Hours:
- 5 out of 7 days per week
- 1 weekend day per week with flexibility
- 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
- Closed on Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, December 27th, and New Year's Day
Main Responsibilities:
- Skilled butchery including carcass breakdown of beef, pork, and lamb
- Handmade sausage production
- Serving and advising customers at the counter
- Providing product knowledge and recipe suggestions
- Adhering to food safety guidelines, temperature checking and assisting in stock takes.
The ideal Butcher will have/be:
- Proven butchery experience, including whole carcass work
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices
- Confidence in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to work efficiently and cleanly in a busy team setting
- Experience with butchery equipment and a willingness to embrace new methods
