The Role:
Duties & Responsibilities:
As the Bar Person / Locker Room Assistant you will be reporting to the manager and be responsible for:
-Develop a friendly but discreet rapport with club members including high usage of name recognition.
-Provide prompt and welcoming service to club members, paying special attention to anticipating their requirements.
-At all times to be immaculately groomed and presented in standard company uniform.
-To adhere to all Company Policies
Locker Room:
-When working in the Locker Room you will be responsible for the smooth, friendly, hygienic and efficient operation of the locker rooms
-To assign lockers to members and guests and to maintain all storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion
-To clean and polish shoes to company standards and maintain a good level of order in the cleaning area.
-To provide food and beverage service in the Locker Rooms.
-To maintain the social areas of the Locker Rooms in a tidy and visually appealing fashion, including newspapers
-Replenish coffee, water and nibbles' stations as often as required to ensure good availability and visual presentation.
-Ensure all toiletries are displayed and replenished in a timely, tidy and hygienic fashion
-Ensure a timely supply of laundered bath towels for the showers and keep the area well-stocked and safe during your shift.
F&B:
When working in F&B, to assist the F&B management in the smooth and efficient running of all food and beverage operations by providing complete member, guest and management satisfaction at all times.
-Familiarise yourself with menus, wine list and commonly requested beverages.
-Cover shifts relating to breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, set-up and bar as directed, in a punctual and professional manner.
-Greet members and guests, present the menu and make suggestions.
-Research and be prepared to have suitable knowledge to answer questions about food, wines, liquors, soft drinks, cigars etc. beyond your immediate on-site training
-Take food orders and send them to kitchen staff in line with company policy
-Complete all relevant tasks on the cleaning check list.
-Organise your work and work area in a clean and professional way.
Requirements:
-Previous experience within Bar/F&B
-Previous experience in a 4/5 Star Environment would be an advantage
-Smart & well presented
-Proactive and organised
-Own transport
Hours:
The contract will be 45 hours a week, working 5/7 days. Straight shifts. Good work life balance.
