Overview

Scattergoods Agency is an independent recruitment company established for 50 years near Guildford. We are looking for a proactive and accurate Part Time Finance Administrator working closely with our Accounts Manager. If you have a solid accounts background including weekly payroll, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Calculation and completion of weekly payroll.
  • Produce statements and weekly invoices for our client base.
  • Processing payments received and reconciling accounts payable.
  • 1st stage credit control and reporting issues on balances.
  • Produce accurate reports on a weekly and month end schedule.
  • Assist with VAT and National Insurance returns and employee pension scheme.
  • Processing of invoices received and general accounts administrative tasks.

What we are looking for

  • A solid background and proven experience in accounts administration or a similar role.
  • Excel skills and aptitude to learn other operating systems.
  • Previous experience of working with Sage accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and on occasion independently.

Job Details

  • Scattergoods Agency is acting as an agency on behalf of this vacancy. In line with UK Immigration and Employment Law, only applicants eligible to live and work in the UK need apply.
  • Location: Office based in Shalford, Surrey (not suitable for home or hybrid working).
  • Job Type: Part time, 20 hours a week per year; Four day working week.
