We are looking for an experienced External Sales Engineer.
Location: Gateshead

We sell solutions rather than ‘just products’ and as such require our sales team to have the knowledge and enthusiasm to provide not only top-notch sales service but also quality wrap around support.
The Job
- Selling a range of high-quality Industrial Automation products, i.e PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear & Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI and Process Instrumentation into the OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets.
- Working to achieve defined sales targets and developing a personal plan to achieve objectives.
- Developing an existing portfolio of accounts whilst constantly striving to identify new avenues of business.
- Working both in a team and enjoying a level of autonomy.
- Providing not only sales but the wrap around support that makes our business great.
- Development of knowledge through regular product training and support.
Key Skills & Experience
- You will have sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry.
- A record of sales success and achievement.
- A formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential.
- Ideally you will have benefited from further career development training to enhance your sales skills.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to be an effective team player whilst enjoying a level of autonomy.
- Capability with Microsoft packages.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
