Role Details
You’ll be part of our team of dedicated practice nurses who work hard to build lasting relationships with clients and continually improve the clinics we offer. Consulting at Pride Veterinary Centre provides a great opportunity to develop your confidence and explore specialist clinics such as osteoarthritis and renal disease management. At Park Farm, you’ll enjoy a varied mix of nurse clinics, surgical support, and general nursing duties as part of a small, close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client contact, has a passion for preventative healthcare, and takes pride in delivering excellent standards of patient care.
Work Schedule
- Full-time: 38 hours per week over 4 days
- Hours between 8am and 7pm
- 1 in 4 Saturdays

About the Practice
Scarsdale Vets consists of 9 local practices offering high-quality care, each with its own friendly, community feel. Our Park Farm site, established in 2011, sits within a busy shopping precinct and has become a valued part of the Allestree community. Our Pride Veterinary Centre is a state-of-the-art hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. You’ll work alongside experienced and supportive colleagues who are passionate about professional development and client relationships.
What We’re Looking For
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Confident with anaesthesia and nurse clinics
- Excellent organisational skills and communication
- Strong interest in client interaction and preventative healthcare
Desirable Skills
- Experience running or developing specialist clinics
- Knowledge of nutrition and weight management
- Stock control or ordering experience
- Full UK driving licence
