My client are a global manufacturer of oil mist filters and accessories and they sell into the aerospace, automotive, engineering, metal cutting and subcontracting industries.
They are looking for an experienced technical Export Sales Manager to grow and develop their existing distributor account base across Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and Denmark. You will be based from home and Maintain close contact with the head office in the Midlands visiting once a week. You should expect to be abroad for approximately 7-10 days per month. The company invest heavily in marketing and promotion to generate new enquiries so you will need to respond proactively and efficiently to these leads. You will manage the distributor accounts and be available to assist those distributor\’s with winning some end user accounts. Some of these distributors have been with the company for decades.
To be considered for this role you will currently be working as a technical export sales manager and have experience managing distributors abroad in Europe. You need to be excellent at building lasting relationships, growing accounts and winning new business. Speaking European languages would be advantageous but not essential.
