A genuinely exciting Sales Contracts Manager/Area Sales Manager position has arisen with this leading supplier of industrial weighing solutions. They are looking for an experienced sales professional with some experience of selling service contracts to join their team.
LOCATION: Candidates can live anywhere in the North of England and will cover the North of England as a territory. You will manage your own diary, book your own appointments and work from home when not out visiting clients.
SALARY: £35k to £40k basic salary with an OTE of approximately £55k with a fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop and 20 days annual leave.
You will be responsible for selling service/calibration contracts to new and existing customers, this could be with local authorities, the NHS, quarries, distilleries, waste and recycling companies, airports, offshore helicopter companies and clinical waste companies. You will sell these contracts to new and existing clients and will be given 15 to 20 new leads a month.
You will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Self-Motivated target driven individual
- Consistent sales target achiever
- Management of sales territory with minimum supervision
- Managing & growing existing client accounts
- Managing & developing dormant clients
- Managing & developing new business opportunities across all industrial sectors
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years territory management experience. You will have a technical bias and experience of selling service contracts. Ideally you will have had exposure to dealing with a variety of different industries.
