A genuinely exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, qualified Electrician. This company has over 40 years' experience providing expert, certified, and fully health-and-safety-approved electrical contracting services for commercial, industrial and domestic clients across Ashford and the surrounding area.

They are looking for an Electrician with AM2 Qualification, 2391 testing & inspecting qualification, ideally with experience of Solar PV & EV Charging to join their team!

LOCATION: Candidates will cover Ashford and the surrounding area and will live locally. Working hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm (or when finished) Monday to Friday (45 hour week).

SALARY: £45,000 to £55,000 as basic salary, company vehicle, 20 days annual leave and company pension. Call rota of 1 in 4 weekends (paid as extra).

As a Qualified Electrician, you will be working in all aspects of electrical installation, including industrial, domestic, commercial, agricultural, and solar PV/EV Chargers. You will also have an apprentice accompany you on site.

Successful candidates will have at least 5 years' experience as a qualified Electrician. AM2 Qualification is essential, as well as 2391 testing & inspecting qualification. Solar PV & EV Charging experience is desirable, along with IPAF / PASMA. Basic knowledge of electrical motors and control is also desirable. Good customer skills are required, along with a flexible approach. Must have a valid driving licence.

Ideally, candidates will be local to Ashford & the surrounding area (a van is provided for work purposes but is not available for your commute to and from the office).
