Scarisbrick Hall School seeks an innovative, passionate and suitably qualified MFL tutor to join our School as soon as possible in a self‑employed role. Scarisbrick Hall School has been awarded Grade 1 in all areas and phases by the Independent Schools Inspectorate with the following headline statement: "The pupils' excellent achievement reflects exemplary attitudes to their learning and a willingness to think for themselves." This is an exciting moment to join a successful and forward‑thinking team. The successful applicant will possess the necessary skills to deliver the highest quality teaching at Scarisbrick Hall School to our pupils in First School, Middle School and College.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tuition and intervention programs to individuals or small groups preparing relevant and appropriate learning experiences in conjunction with the school curriculum.
  • Support pupils in overcoming hurdles or barriers to learning.
  • Assist in the development of suitable intervention material.
  • Keep a log on pupils who undertake tutoring and assist on the recording and reporting procedures.
  • Liaise regularly with the Head of Faculty and teachers to inform them of progress and provide relevant feedback as appropriate.
  • Support exam revision sessions.
  • Attend relevant meetings that relate to the role.
  • Comply with the safeguarding procedures of the school.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties (with competence and experience) as requested, in accordance with the changing needs of the organisation.
