Scarborough College is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Business & Economics to join our thriving school community. This role combines excellent classroom teaching with opportunities to contribute to the wider life of the College.
You will teach across KS3, GCSE and IB, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding, critical thinking and independent learning. Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND and EAL needs, is central to the role. Monitoring progress, setting high expectations, and providing subject-specific guidance and enrichment activities will be key responsibilities.
Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to co-curricular activities, academic clinics, trips, competitions, and boarding duties, helping to enrich school life.
The successful candidate will be organised, flexible and passionate about Business & Economics, with the ability to inspire and motivate students both inside and outside the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, ambitious independent school.
