Location: Scape, London
Hours: 40 hours per week, shift basis covering 07:00–20:00 Monday to Sunday, with an on‑call rota including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, basic electrical, guttering, decorating, plastering, kitchen and bathroom maintenance and more)
- Carry out fault finding and leak investigations
- Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations
- Comply with safety processes and responsibilities
- Complete reports and paperwork as required
- Oversee and work alongside the maintenance team of your site and the work carried out
- Stock‑taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels
- Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy and equipment is checked on a regular basis; report and resolve faulty equipment through liaison with your Maintenance Manager
- Control and direct specialist sub‑contractors at all times when they visit site
- Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Participate in the regular, structured on‑call system within the UK
- Be responsible for all keys and locks within the site
- Undertake painting duties where applicable
