OPPORTUNITY AWAITS AT MORRO - Building from our successful student product Scape is creating a new way to live. Welcome to considered Living. Our design-led properties have everything residents need to feel at home. Thoughtfully designed and created with the resident in mind, we put personal space first whilst providing access to a variety of shared social spaces. All of our buildings have a state-of-the-art fitness studio, cinema room, family-style kitchen, co-working spaces and communal areas to relax in. Once settled, residents can take advantage of a range of services including regular fresh grocery deliveries, laundry services and access to a personal trainer.
Location: The Altham, Walthamstow
Hours: 40 hours per week, shift patterns to cover Monday - Sunday
As a Maintenance Operative your main responsibilities include:
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work; training will be provided, basic knowledge of general property maintenance preferred (basic painting skills required).
- Carry out fault finding and leak investigations.
- Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations.
- Comply with Health and Safety processes and responsibilities.
- Complete work reports on an iPad.
- Work as part of the maintenance team and under your own initiative.
- Liaise and communicate with residents in person, over the phone and via email – keeping them informed of every step until their query is resolved.
- Ensure jobs are completed as per the SLA.
- Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels.
- Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy, and equipment is checked on a regular basis.
- Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager and outside contractors.
- Sign in and assist specialist sub-contractors when required.
- Replace light switches, light bulbs and fixtures.
- Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site.

- To be part of the site on call rota to cover emergency call outs.
- To undertake any other duties as and when required that are commensurate with the role.
