Senior Commissioning Engineer Aldermaston | Full-Time On Site | Contract | SC Clearance Essential We’re recruiting a Senior Commissioning Engineer to plan, coordinate and deliver commissioning activities on live nuclear projects. This is a hands-on role with ownership of your work packages from planning and readiness through to execution, documentation and formal completion. You’ll plan and deliver on-site and off-site commissioning, run tests against approved procedures and acceptance criteria, and keep commissioning records, work authorisation forms and completion reports accurate and up to date. You’ll also monitor progress, forecast completion, manage outstanding actions and escalate risks early. Alongside this, you’ll support design for commissioning, coordinate supplier testing and share technical knowledge with the wider team. What you bring Degree or HND in an engineering discipline (essential) Membership of a relevant technical or professional body (desirable) 5 years’ experience in a project delivery role, ideally in decommissioning, waste management or environmental remediation Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight timescales Confident communicator with technical colleagues, contractors and external stakeholders Competent in MS Office, with familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 (desirable) Training in IOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace will be provided where needed.
