We are looking for SC or DV Cleared Pipefitters for our client on a project based at AWE, Reading.

Job Details:

  • Type: Contract
  • Rate: £320.00 per day
  • Pay Type: CIS
  • Start Date: 4 weeks
  • Duration: 8 weeks initially, with the potential for extension

Essentials:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Pipefitting or a relevant mechanical trade
  • Previous industrial or commercial pipefitting experience
  • Clearance: Must hold current SC or DV Clearance

Duties:

  • Reviewing permits to work, method statements and risk assessments before commencing work.
  • Measuring, fabricating and installing a variety of pipework systems from engineering drawings and isometric sketches, including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and specialist alloy pipework.
  • Installing valves, flanges, supports and brackets, carrying out alignment and bolting activities, assisting with pressure testing, and repairing or replacing existing pipework while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 15:30

Overtime: Potential overtime available.
