Our client is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support a major infrastructure project in Plymouth. Working within a Joint Project Team, you will coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities on a high-profile defence programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Define requirements and prepare technical specifications
- Manage design support activities
- Review drawings, method statements, and risk assessments
- Provide technical supervision of construction/deconstruction
- Support commissioning and respond to technical queries
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards
Essential Experience
- Design assurance on complex projects
- Civil engineering delivery experience
- Stakeholder engagement across the engineering lifecycle
Desirable
- Defence sector experience
- Engineering lifecycle management
- Chartered Engineer status
Requirements
- UK National with active SC Clearance
- Accredited STEM degree (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant marine and/or mechanical environment exposure
