Our client is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support a major infrastructure project in Plymouth. Working within a Joint Project Team, you will coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities on a high-profile defence programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define requirements and prepare technical specifications
  • Manage design support activities
  • Review drawings, method statements, and risk assessments
  • Provide technical supervision of construction/deconstruction
  • Support commissioning and respond to technical queries
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards

Essential Experience

  • Design assurance on complex projects
  • Civil engineering delivery experience
  • Stakeholder engagement across the engineering lifecycle

Desirable

  • Defence sector experience
  • Engineering lifecycle management
  • Chartered Engineer status

Requirements

  • UK National with active SC Clearance
  • Accredited STEM degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant marine and/or mechanical environment exposure
