How to prepare for a job interview at Scantec

✨Know Your CMMS Inside Out

Since the role heavily involves managing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), make sure you understand its functionalities. Brush up on how to create, assign, and close work orders, as well as how to maintain accurate asset records. Being able to discuss your experience with similar systems will show you're ready to hit the ground running.

✨Demonstrate Your Organisational Skills

This position is all about keeping things organised in a fast-paced environment. Prepare examples from your past experiences where you've successfully managed schedules or maintained control over maintenance activities. Highlighting your ability to prioritise tasks will resonate well with the interviewers.

✨Show Your Problem-Solving Skills

In a reactive work environment, being able to think on your feet is crucial. Be ready to discuss specific instances where you've tackled unexpected challenges in maintenance planning. This will demonstrate your ability to keep operations running smoothly, even when things don’t go as planned.

✨Ask Insightful Questions

Interviews are a two-way street, so come prepared with questions that show your interest in the company and the role. Ask about their current maintenance strategies or how they measure the success of their CMMS. This not only shows your enthusiasm but also helps you gauge if the company is the right fit for you.
