We are currently recruiting for a Site Technician (EC&I) on behalf of a well-established engineering business delivering projects across the UK. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent earning potential, consistent work, and long-term career development.

The Role

You will be working on a variety of industrial sites nationwide, carrying out installation and wiring duties as part of EC&I projects. When not on-site, you will be based out of the Wolverhampton facility. Projects may include high-profile environments such as nuclear and infrastructure sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field wiring and installation of control panels
  • Working from and interpreting EC&I drawings
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning support
  • Working on industrial sites across the UK
  • Ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards

Salary & Package

£35,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)

  • Overtime available
  • All travel, accommodation, and meals covered
  • Company hire car provided
  • Overnight allowance (dependent on time spent away)

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 typical working day

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong EC&I experience
  • Control panel wiring experience
  • Proven background in field installation work
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret EC&I drawings
  • Experience working on industrial or regulated sites

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in EC&I installation or similar role
  • Ability to work away from home regularly
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of site-based work and safety standards
  • Must be able to obtain Nuclear SC Clearance
