DV CLEARED ELECTRICIANS REQUIRED – BERKSHIRE
Please note: Due to the nature of the project, applicants must hold active DV Clearance to be considered.
We are currently recruiting for 3 x DV Cleared Electricians on behalf of our client for a contract based in Berkshire, supporting works within a secure nuclear environment.
Position: DV Cleared Electrician
Location: Berkshire
Start Date: August 2026
Duration: August 2026 – October 2026 (with potential extension)
Rate: £43.75 - £50.00 per hour (£350 - £400 per day)
Payment: CIS
Hours: 07:30/08:00 – 15:30/16:00 (40 hours per week)
Overtime: Available
Essential Requirements:
- Active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance – Mandatory
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Valid CSCS Card
Desirable:
- Previous experience working on Nuclear, Defence, MOD, or other high-security projects
- Experience working within DV-cleared environments
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance activities within a warehouse environment on a nuclear facility.
- Installation of cable containment systems including tray, basket, conduit, and trunking.
- Installation and termination of power, lighting, and control cabling.
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and rectification of electrical systems.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
- Electrical testing and commissioning support.
- Working in accordance with permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Ensuring compliance with site quality, safety, and nuclear industry standards.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, inspection records, and test results.
