Are you a Structural Integrity expert looking to work for one of the world’s biggest Nuclear companies? We’re looking for an experienced technical leader with knowledge of modern structural integrity techniques and a track record of delivering in the Nuclear industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical point of contact for the structural integrity team.
- Lead on troubleshooting, technical advice, reviewing analysis outputs and progress.
- Responsibility to be Independent Technical Approver on projects.
- Oversee Safety Case reporting.
- Calculation reviews.
- Mentoring junior members of the team.
- Ensure labour and resource align with project budgeting.
- Support and input on bid writing and proposals.
About You
Qualification: Engineering degree or equivalent. CEng status or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Extensive FE Stress Analysis (strength, fatigue, defect tolerance & fitness for service assessment)
- Nuclear structure, system & component Assessment
- Customer specific assessment methodologies (R3/R5/R6)
- Finite Element Analysis (ABAQUS preferred, ANSYS, Dyna)
- Altair hyperworks or equivalent tooling
- Pressure Vessel assessments
