Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation Biased) - Permanent | Pitman Shift Pattern (Days Only)

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and instrumentation skills? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing or process environment where no two days are the same?

We're looking for engineers who can play a key role in maintaining critical plant equipment, ensuring maximum reliability, safety and efficiency across a busy production site.

As part of the Engineering team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance while supporting the safe and efficient operation of key utilities and process equipment.
  • Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Fault finding, testing, calibration, installation and commissioning of process instrumentation.
  • Electrical installation, repairs and commissioning of plant and equipment.
  • Supporting the operation of boilers, steam generation plant, CHP/gas turbine systems and water treatment facilities.
  • Monitoring plant performance and making operational adjustments where required.
  • Carrying out electrical isolations and working safely within Permit to Work procedures.
  • Working closely with Production and Engineering teams to minimise downtime.

Requirements:

  • A recognised Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Instrumentation apprenticeship.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, heavy industrial, chemical, energy or process environment.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • The ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of electrical isolation procedures and safe working practices.
