Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading FMCG Food Manufacturer in South Lanarkshire to assist them in finding a Production Supervisor for their Night shift team. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience with one of the UK’s largest food manufacturing businesses. It's a large manufacturing with a fantastic culture. Shifts: Days/Nights, 4on, 4off 06:30 - 18:30
A brief summary of your role and responsibilities:
- Be committed and driven to succeed with experience of managing and developing a team.
- Demonstrate delivery of KPIs and be able to build strong working relationships with both your own team and across different functions.
- Managing daily budgets, including labour and materials, and be responsible for reporting on these on a daily basis.
- Ensure conformance to daily plans, ensuring that your area is audit and GMP compliant on a daily basis.
- Put safety at the forefront of what you do, ensuring procedures are complied with which includes logging accidents and near misses if they happen.
- Responsible for directly managing a team, managing headcounts, and upskilling and developing team members.
- Oversee the absence management of your team and conduct investigations and disciplinaries where appropriate.
- Be your team's first point of contact and promote the company values and foster a culture of trust within the team.
Skills & Experience required: We're ideally seeking a candidate with similar experience in a Team leader / Supervisor role, from within a food / FMCG manufacturing environment or a distribution / logistics environment.
