Scantec are recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a company who are in a period of growth. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heat treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out regular maintenance and inspections of heat treatment machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities on CMMS.
  • Work with other teams to ensure efficient operation.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical processes and equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • HND/HNC qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
