We are looking for EC&I Technicians for our client on a project based in Aldermaston, Reading.

Type: Contract

Pay Type: CIS (Agency PAYE also available – rates available on request)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months minimum

Qualifications:

  • All applicants must hold an NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain DV clearance (British passport and having lived and worked continuously in the UK for the last 10 years with no overseas employment during that period).
  • Candidates do not need to already hold clearance, provided you are willing to undergo the vetting process.

Experience:

  • Experience with motors, PLCs, SCADA systems, BMS and panel wiring is essential.
  • COMPEX certification would be highly desirable, although it is not a mandatory requirement.

Hours:

  • Week 1: 40 hours – Mon‑Thursday 07:45‑17:00 (includes 30‑min unpaid lunch, 35 hrs) + Friday 07:45‑12:15 (5 hrs)
  • Week 2: 35 hours – Mon‑Thursday 07:45‑17:00 (includes 30‑min unpaid lunch, 35 hrs) + Friday off
