Operating from the UK office as an RV Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing our long-standing relationships, aggressively pursuing new business, and managing our critical OEM and vehicle conversion accounts. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Regional Growth: Identify and capture new business opportunities within the RV sector to hit ambitious annual revenue targets.
- OEM Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for major RV customers, builders and manufacturers, ensuring Scanstrut products are integrated into their latest designs.
- Channel Strategy: Manage and support our existing distributor network, providing them with the tools and energy needed to move the needle.
- Market Ambassadorship: Represent Scanstrut at trade shows across the UK and international industry events—this is a "lively" role that requires high visibility and active networking.
- Technical Consultation: Use your product knowledge to provide solutions for technical electrical installations, bridging the gap between customer needs and our engineering team.
Requirements:
- RV Market Experience: Direct experience is not essential as training will be given, however experience within the RV market and product interaction would be beneficial.
- Technical Fluency: Experience selling technical products or electrical accessories. You should be comfortable discussing specs, installation challenges, and hardware integration.
- Regional Expertise: A good understanding of the UK marketplace, including distribution models, B2B & B2C accounts and model year changes and sales.
- Autonomy: High energy and a self-starter mindset. You’ll be managing the entire UK territory and must be disciplined in your travel and pipeline management.
