The role involves delivering data analytics projects (predominantly involving marketing mix modelling), supporting users of our specialised MMM software, and contributing to the evolution of our products. As a Senior Analytical Consultant, you will work across a varied and diverse range of clients, responsible for contributing to the excellent delivery of data analytics projects plus providing training and technical support to clients that use our software. You will be a key member of the team, taking on responsibilities for day-to-day management of live project items, and ensuring high levels of quality from the wider team. While onboarding support is provided, this role gives a high level of autonomy and opportunity for initiative.
Responsibilities:
- This is a hands-on role in which you will work as part of the consulting team to deliver data analytics projects from end-to-end – including project kick-off, data collection, data processing, model-building, optimisation and providing recommendations.
- Develop econometric models to evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing activities and identify areas of opportunity.
- Take the lead, with strategic guidance from Directors, in the preparation of results presentations and presenting back the findings to clients.
- Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide demos, training and technical support to current and prospective clients.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure they get the most value from our solutions.
- Manage and coach junior analysts to ensure their continued development.
- Work closely with the product and software development team to test upcoming releases, propose new features and contribute ideas to the product roadmap.
Skills & experience:
- 3+ years of experience doing marketing mix modelling.
- Degree in Economics, Maths, Stats, Sciences or other numerical subject (2:1 or above).
- Analytical mindset.
- Highly numerate with the ability to convert technical analysis into real-world applications.
- Strong knowledge of regression and time-series analytics.
- Good knowledge of Excel, common statistical packages (Eviews, R, Python, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Interest in media & marketing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ambitious, determined and self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- An interest in training others.
- Residing in the UK (preferably London area).
