About Erinion

Erinion designs, builds and operates depot and destination charging solutions for heavy‑duty vehicles. As part of the Scania Group, we combine the strength of a global transport leader with the agility of a fast‑growing company. Our approach focuses on energy efficiency and optimal utilisation, ensuring that electrification is not only sustainable but also financially and commercially viable for our customers. We support different ways of financing, owning and operating charging sites, so that each customer can find the model that best fits their business. With operations across eight European markets and global expansion underway, we enable transport operators to electrify their fleets with confidence and long‑term profitability.

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in turning ambitious electrification plans into reality - and into long‑term partnerships. You'll take end‑to‑end ownership of charging infrastructure projects, from early customer engagement and solution design through build, commissioning, and handover, ensuring that every site is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This is more than a delivery role. You'll be the customer's primary point of contact across the lifecycle of their electrification journey - building trust, understanding their operation, and spotting where Erinion can add further value. Whether that's an additional depot, smarter use of on‑site power, battery storage, or energy optimisation, you'll be the one positioned to shape what comes next. You’ll work fluently between site, customer meeting, and technical problem‑solving, and you'll see fleet electrification not just as a project to deliver but as a transition to enable.

Your Responsibilities

  • Delivery
    • Lead the full deployment process of charging infrastructure projects, from solution design through to commissioning and handover. Projects will primarily be in the UK, with occasional international work.
    • Conduct site assessments and advise on feasibility, timelines, and budgeting.
    • Drive the selection, contracting, and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
    • Manage permitting processes and ensure design compliance.
    • Oversee on‑site construction activities and ensure safety, quality, and timeline adherence.
    • Liaise with grid operators (DNOs/IDNOs) to secure power supply and capacity.
    • Proactively identify risks or roadblocks and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
    • Manage the post‑project handover to Service & Operations and Customer Success, with clear documentation for future support.
  • Customer ownership
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers across the project lifecycle and beyond.
    • Build trusted relationships with operational and senior stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of each customer's fleet, sites, and electrification strategy.
    • Maintain clear, consistent communication on progress, cost, and performance.
    • Ensure customers see Erinion as a long‑term partner in their transition, not just a contractor on a single site.
  • Opportunity development
    • Identify and shape further opportunities across customer sites: additional charging, power upgrades, on‑site energy optimisation, and battery storage (BESS).
    • Bring technical input, cost insight, and a clear view of total cost of ownership into customer conversations.
    • Help customers see the full picture of fleet electrification, reinforcing the business case alongside the technical solution.
    • Feed opportunities back into the commercial pipeline and work closely with internal colleagues to convert them into secured projects.

Your Profile

  • 4+ years of experience managing end‑to‑end construction or infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and site activities
  • Confident managing customer relationships and comfortable being the face of the project
  • Strong commercial awareness with a focus on outcomes, value, and total cost of ownership
  • Curious and entrepreneurial
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Open to regular travel, averaging around 40%
  • Experience in energy, e‑mobility, or transport is a strong plus
