Events Logistics & Show Operations Specialist

Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid) with regular travel for events

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8.45 – 5pm) with occasional weekend event working.

Salary: From £40,000 + Car + an excellent benefits package including:

About the Role

As our Events Logistics & Show Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering Scania's events programme across the UK. From exhibitions and customer roadshows to press and product launches, promotional campaigns and internal events, you'll ensure our vehicles, trailers and event assets are transported, prepared and presented to the highest standards.

This is a hands‑on role combining logistics, vehicle operations and event delivery. You'll work closely with internal teams, customers and media representatives while supporting on‑site event operations across the UK, with occasional overseas travel and weekend work during peak event periods.

For this role, you must have a C+E Licence and full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the transport, delivery and collection of event vehicles, show trailers and hospitality assets.
  • Prepare, set up and de‑rig event infrastructure, including branding, merchandise and display equipment.
  • Ensure all event vehicles are presented to the highest standards for exhibitions, demonstrations and media activities.
  • Support press events, customer demonstrations and promotional campaigns, including vehicle familiarisation where required.
  • Operate and support the Scania Show Trailer and other event assets at exhibitions and customer events.
  • Manage the storage, maintenance and inventory of event equipment and merchandise.
  • Carry out vehicle inspections and ensure all assets are event ready.
  • Support event build, breakdown and on‑site logistics while maintaining safe working practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and transport regulations and contribute to continuous improvement of event operations.

About You

You'll be a proactive, organised and practical individual who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional events.

You’ll have:

  • Experience in event logistics, commercial vehicle operations, exhibition trailers
  • A strong understanding of commercial vehicles and vehicle presentation.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with customers, media representatives and colleagues.
  • A flexible approach, with the ability to travel across the UK and work occasional weekends during peak event periods.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • A full UK driving licence and C+E Licence
