Scania GB are offering a conversion programme to Technicians from the Light vehicle, Plant or Agricultural sector. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to convert their current skills and train to become a Scania HGV Technician. This programme will be a mixture of on-site mentoring and bespoke training at our brand-new Scania UK Learning Academy.
Whilst on site, you will be partnered with experienced Scania technicians and be allocated a mentor to observe and shadow. Whilst at the Scania UK Learning Academy, you will benefit from bespoke Scania training covering 6 key modules spanning from industry and Scania product knowledge through to maintenance and inspection theory, delivered by our own in-house training experts whilst getting hands on with our product.
We will provide you with all the tools and knowledge you need to succeed, with an opportunity to gain an industry recognised IRTEC qualification and a Scania Roadside Assistance qualification.

Qualifications:
- The desire to utilise your current experience, to convert to the Heavy Vehicle industry
- An apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (NVQ Lv3 or equivalent may be considered)
- A minimum of 3 years hands on mechanical experience.
