We have a highly respected client seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join their busy workshop and field support operation in West London. We are looking for a skilled and dependable mechanic who can work to exceptionally high standards and take pride in maintaining a hardworking commercial fleet.
The Role
- Servicing and repairs on a predominantly Scania and Volvo fleet
- Welding and fabrication work
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults
- Attending vehicle breakdowns when required
- Maintaining vehicles to a high operational and safety standard
You must be capable of working under your own initiative and able to efficiently manage workloads in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
- Strong commercial vehicle mechanical experience
- Experience with Scania and Volvo trucks preferred
- Welding experience advantageous
- Ability to diagnose faults independently
- Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
