Working Hours: Rotating shift pattern Monday - Friday: Week 1: 07:00 - 15:30 | Week 2: 13:30 - 00:00 + 1 in 2 Saturdays 06:00 - 12:00
£19.64 - £23.50 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package, including:

Scania has an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent people leadership skills within the HGV sector to join the team at our Southampton branch. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop whilst overseeing the team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of the workshop in conjunction with Service Reception, prioritising workload to meet customer needs, ensuring a steady flow of work through the workshop.
- Diagnose, analyse, and rectify all types of faults, including engines, gear boxes and retarders, brake systems, pneumatic and electrical components.
- Comply with company Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies, including the mandatory wearing of personal protective equipment and machine guarding.
- Supervise workshop staff, monitor timekeeping and productivity.
- Keep up to date with technical developments, mainly concerning products, working methods and equipment in operation, as well as informing the technicians of these developments.
