About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join our team at Scania Boston at the heart of all workshop activity. You will be an organised people leader, with proven workshop experience, who encourages and promotes a team environment. You will manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance, support, and ensuring a safe place to work, through excellent Health and Safety protocols. You will be passionate about the efficient running of the Workshop and pro-active communication, delivering a fantastic service to all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and organise the workshop team whilst managing productivity and efficiencies.
- Be the go-to for any support required for Technician and workshop staff.
- Provide technical knowledge to your team of technicians as well as customers when required.
- Ensure all work is authorised to a high standard.
- Promote high standards on job card write up to prevent warranty rejections.
- Mentor apprentices to empower them to become the future of tomorrow.
