Rate of Pay: £19.58 - £22 per hour (including shift allowance)
Working Hours: Early/Late shift rotation: Week 1 (Monday – Friday 06.00 – 14.30) Week 2 (14.00 – 22.30) +1 in 4 Saturdays (06.00 - 12.00) paid at Overtime rate.

Scania have an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent people leadership skills within the HGV sector to join the team at our Swindon branch. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop whilst overseeing the team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily running of the workshop in conjunction with Service Reception, prioritising workload to meet customer needs, ensuring a steady flow of work through the workshop.
- Diagnose, analyse, and rectify all types of faults, including engines, gear boxes and retarders, brake systems, pneumatic and electrical components.
- Comply with company Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies, including the mandatory wearing of personal protective equipment and machine guarding.
- Supervise workshop staff, monitor timekeeping and productivity.
- Keep up to date with technical developments, mainly concerning products, working methods and equipment in operation, as well as informing the technicians of these developments.
