The predicted salary is between 27900 - 34100 £ per year.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday – 08:45 – 17:00

Location: Milton Keynes - Based from our Brand New Scania Training Academy

Salary: £44,000 plus an excellent benefits package

An opportunity for an experienced Technical Training Instructor with a genuine enthusiasm for developing others to join the Scania GB family. Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles and power solutions we are building a brand-new learning academy in Milton Keynes, where this role will be based. The successful candidate will come from an automotive technical background and will have an excellent working knowledge of the automotive industry and current training methodologies.

You will be delivering industry recognised training, as well as bespoke courses specifically designed for our Scania UK network. You will be at the forefront of developing our people, aiding Scania to deliver industry leading training that creates an exceptional service for our customers.

In this role you will:

  • Creating an engaging learning environment, inspiring, guiding and challenging colleagues to develop their competences, skills, and behaviours.
  • Deliver the latest technical learning programme, both theoretical and practical whilst ensuring excellent Health & Safety standards are maintained, as well as being a role model for the Scania prestige and premium.
  • Work closely with the wider People Development team, creating a culture of trust and excellence, developing training linked to new and existing standards and integrating new training courses in the technical training programme.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, covering a wide range of automotive technical subjects. Face to Face, remotely or through a blended learning approach.
  • Utilise a range of Training methods to engage learners, ensuring that the content is accessible and adaptable to all learning styles and backgrounds.
  • Create an inclusive atmosphere within the classroom and workshop environment, encouraging participation and collaboration among all delegates.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and best practices, to continuously enhance the Training curriculum.
  • Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to delegates, developing them in their technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborate with the wider People Development team to assess the effectiveness of training programmes and implement improvements, based on feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Analyse and adapt training to ensure Scania deliver training that meets the needs of our people and customers.
