Scania GB are searching for a Head of Network Development, who will lead the identification and development of our most strategic locations, optimise performance across both wholly owned and franchise partner sites, and ensure Scania's standards of quality and compliance are never compromised. You'll be the driving force behind a network that's fit for the future, commercially sharp, operationally excellent, and built around our customers.

In this role you will:
- Deliver the national network development strategy and plan aligned to business objectives and growth ambitions
- Identify, evaluate, and implement optimal retail locations based on market potential, customer demand, and future opportunity
- Lead the ongoing development and performance optimisation of both wholly owned and franchise partner authorised locations
- Ensure consistent application of brand standards, customer experience, and operational excellence across all locations
- Drive dealer operating standards compliance with all regulatory, legal, and company requirements across the retail network
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track network performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Build strong relationships with franchise partners, supporting alignment to strategic goals and performance expectations
- Lead investment planning and business case development for new sites, relocations, and refurbishments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, aftersales, and central functions to ensure network capability meets current and future business needs
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction across the network
- Provide leadership, direction, and continuous development to the Network Development team

- Leadership – a results-driven and visionary leader with a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive Network developments across large, multidisciplinary organisations.
- Collaboration - extensive collaboration with key stakeholders across the business ensuring end to end delivery of our Network development initiatives and direction.
- Strategic planning - expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and cross functional leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving sustainable growth, capturing emerging opportunities.
- Communication & Influence – influence change, creating understanding through effective communication.
- Compliance – Strong knowledge of compliance, governance, and audit standards.
