Overview: This is a placement designed for a marketing student who wants to spend a year doing real B2B marketing work, learning fast, and contributing across a broad set of projects. You'll join our Marketing Communications team in London and work across content, PR, social, customer advocacy and reporting. The role is deliberately broad - you'll touch most things the team produces, with hands‑on support and mentorship from senior team members in each area.

Your opportunity:

  • Content and social
    • Draft blog posts and other content under the guidance of our content leads
    • Regularly optimize new and existing content for SEO and AI search engines (GEO / LLM discoverability) to increase Scandit visibility
    • Create on-brand visual assets in Canva for events, social channels, and content
    • Upload and edit website content in Storyblok
    • Contribute to video creation projects such as storyboarding and liaison with freelancers
    • Upload and ongoing optimization of video content on social platforms such as YouTube, including adding descriptions and titles that are search and human friendly
    • Produce and assist in 1:1 and 1:few ABM customized campaign assets (Highspot pages, outbound email drafts) in collaboration with content and field marketing teams
  • Customer advocacy
    • Draft customer case studies and liaise with internal teams on approvals
    • Refresh and maintain key resources for go‑to‑market teams including customer case study slides and logo decks based on up to date data in Salesforce
    • Research and test new ways to ensure relevant teams are regularly updated with customer advocacy (and other content) to ensure maximum use and visibility within relevant marketing channels and sales processes
  • Reporting and insights
    • Own the production of our monthly internal Marketing Digest — collating contributions across the team and surfacing the insights that matter
    • Build the quarterly PR report using an external tool
    • Draft our bi-weekly customer newsletter and manage reporting process, including surfacing trends and recommendations

  • Currently studying for a degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, with a placement year as part of your course
  • Strong spoken and written English, ideally native
  • Genuine fluency and curiosity with AI tools - we are looking for someone who proactively uses AI and is excited to push further.
  • Right to work in the UK for the duration of the placement
  • Based in London or within a commutable distance to travel to the office at least 2-3 days a week
  • Strong project management, time management, and execution skills
  • Hands‑on experience with Canva, a CMS (Storyblok or similar), or basic HTML
  • Coursework or projects involving SEO, content strategy, or analytics
  • Any exposure to B2B or technology marketing
  • Curious, low‑ego, and happy asking questions
  • Comfortable juggling several workstreams in tandem
